The Chinese smartphone maker seems to have decided to test all its terminals on GeekBench on the same day. Here then that later the benchmark of the Oppo A91 just presented, now also comes that of a device not yet launched, we refer to the Oppo Reno 3.
Oppo Reno 3 with MediaTek Dimensity 1000L arrives on GeekBench
As we can see in the screenshot above, the Oppo Reno 3 managed to grab 3193 points in single-core mode, while in multi-core the score is 9918 well. These numbers were obtained thanks to the brand new MediaTek Dimensity 1000L processor which he will most likely see his debut on Oppo's smartphone.
If compared to other chips already on the market, we find that the Dimensity 1000L achieves a score slightly higher than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845; the CPU for flagship of 2018. So, it is not at the levels of the last Snapdragon, but still manages to assert itself.
At the moment, MediaTek has not yet announced all the specifications of the new processor, the Dimensity 1000L is in fact a slightly weakened version of the Dimensity 1000, which instead represents the best performing CPU of the Chinese chip maker.
That said, thanks to the official info released previously, we already know that the smartphone (and therefore the SoC) will support 5G technology with dual-mode compatibility NSA / SA for greater coverage.
In addition, the official website has also made it known that the Oppo Reno 3 will be available with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. While the colors will be four: Sunrise Impression, Moonlight White, Moonlight Black and Blue Starry Night.
Other specs that we will most likely find on board include a 64MP main camera accompanied by three other sensors. We will then have a 4025mAh battery with VOOC flash charge support and a fingerprint sensor under the screen.
The Oppo Reno 3 will be officially presented on December 26 in the Chinese province of Hangzhou.
