A new bug on OnePlus 8T, 8 and 8 Pro: this time it is the Nightscape mode that is unusable

Unfortunately, when the devices in the catalog of a brand begin to increase, the first quarrels regarding the updates that are released also begin to arrive. OnePlus is not exempt from this which with its OxygenOS 11 has unfortunately intruded several bugs concerning the 8, 8T and 8 Pro models and in particular the Nightscape photographic mode, a feature very much appreciated by users who love the Asian brand, which allows them to get clear and defined photos even in low light conditions, so to speak the night mode seen on other rival OEM smartphones. And the bug in question is really compromising, because it makes the photos obtained through this mode practically unusable.

Above you see some examples of the bug in action in Nightscape mode but online and right on the forum (1234) OnePlus there are many other examples, unfortunately, to testify how the photos taken with this feature are affected by a chromatic variation that pushes to obtain a practically purple photo. At the moment we are trying to understand which are the releases of the OxygenOS 11 affected by the bug but a common denominator seems to be the presence of Android 11, so it should be easily solved as it is a software and not a hardware problem.

In any case, it seems that the company is aware of this problem and that it is already working to resolve it, so in the next few days the fix could arrive that will bring the situation back to normal.
