Many are waiting for the release of OnePlus Z, a terminal that has been much talked about but that still remains shrouded in mystery regarding technical specifications, design and price. To light the matter, however, a survey distributed on the Payback platform intervenes, the multibrand loyalty program, in which users were asked if they were interested in buying a OnePlus smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 CPU and 5G connectivity at a price of about 330 dollars .
In fact, further specifications are added in the survey on the alleged OnePlus Z, which should equip a 90Hz and 6,55-inch diagonal Super AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint reader. The 90Hz screen should actually be a constant for the brand's terminals as OnePlus has long stated that it will use high refresh rate displays for all of its phones.
A three-lens rear camera composed of 64 MP + 16 MP + 2 MP sensors is then mentioned in contrast to what the rumors had suggested, namely 48 MP + 16 MP + 12 MP. Let's assume that the 16MP and 2MP sensors are the same ultra-wide and macro sensors found on OnePlus 8.
Other purported specs include a 4300mAh battery with 30W fast charging. Finally, the survey indicates 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage versus 8GB of RAM and 128GB / 256GB of storage said in precedence.
We are not sure that the specifications mentioned in the survey are accurate, but certainly OnePlus Z will be an interesting device that could step on Xiaomi and Realme's feet.
But the specs that appeared online have been questioned by various leakers, such as Max J, stating that these OnePlus Z specs are incorrect. It does not say how exactly they differ from the real ones, but since it is a well-known voice in the landscape, we can say that the survey actually proposes false data. As usual, we just have to wait for some twist that should take place in July 2020.
