Some OnePlus smartphones have problems with the Google app. Here's how to solve it

Fans of the OnePlus brand do not want me, but those who have always supported the perfection of the software installed on their devices, the OxygenOS, must change their mind given the many reports on the various online forums, regarding some problems related to the Google app. What unites the reports seems to be the 10.97.8.21.arm64 version of the Google app but also the latest update to 10.98.10.21.arm64 which does not seem to solve any problem.

The problems encountered include, for example, app flickering, active in the background but unusable, but also the search bar that does not work and more. On the contrary, the widget would still be usable, while opening the app could also lead to a sudden crash.

Some OnePlus smartphones have problems with the Google app. Here's how to solve it

The smartphones involved in this strange mishap seem to be mainly OnePlus 5 and 5T.

Compared to other apps, there are fewer instances where we see Google's getting into trouble due to bugs or issues and above all it's strange how this time around OnePlus users seem to be specifically affected.

However, even if your terminal is also affected by this problem, there are three solutions available: wait for Google and / or OnePlus to bring a definitive solution, or uninstall the Google app and reinstall it in the previous version that you can find on sites as APKMirror or you could proceed by turning off the phone when charging it, since it has been reported that the bug may be related to the new Ambient mode.
