Here we are in front of the interface of our Amazon Fire TV Stick, which I personally connected to the USB socket of my modest TV as well as to the power cable and relative power supply supplied in the sales package of the product.
Having said that, let's go inside the TV Stick app store and then search for the DOWNLOADER application. Just type the first few letters of the app name to see it appear in the search list. Click on it and then proceed with the download of the app and its installation.
Once the DOWNLOADER has been installed, open the app and from the home page, where the search bar is present, enter the following address:
Click on GO and wait for the aforementioned site to open. Scroll to find the image of the green ANDROID robot and click on it. Now scroll again until you find the download button for the ARMV7A (32 bit) APK, correct file for our Fire TV Stick.
The download and its installation request will start. Now open the KODI app and first of all I recommend setting the Italian language, an operation that you can perform by clicking on the gear icon located at the top left.
From the menu that opens, go to INTERFACE and then to REGIONAL and LANGUAGE, choosing the Italian language, which will be installed after a short download.
Now always returning to the KODI settings, or in the gear icon, and click on FILE and then on the ADD SOURCE item.
A window opens: from here click on NONE and then enter the address:
Give OK and if you want to rename everything by clicking on REPO, for example I have renamed it as TVDGT. Let's go back to the previous menu and click on the ADD-ON item. At this point click on INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE. You are asked for permission to install files from unknown sources, so click on SETTINGS and flag the appropriate option. Let's go back and click again on the INSTALL FROM ZIP FILE item, confirm the window that opens with YES and then scroll to the TVDGT item (in my case or the name you gave to the repository in the previous step) and then proceed with the installation of the repository file, confirming with OK.
A pop-up will appear at the top right of the successful installation. Now from the same page click on INSTALL FROM REPOSITORY, go to WORLDLIVE TV ADD-ON and then to ADD-ON VIDEO and then to WORLD LIVE TV HELPER. Click on it and finally proceed with the confirmation of the installation, using the appropriate button.
A further pop-up will warn us of the successful installation, so we just have to enjoy all the digital terrestrial channels on our Fire TV Stick, but we are not finished yet, so let's go to the home of the KODI program and from the left side menu we search the ADD-ON item where we will find WORLD LIVE TV HELPER. Click on it and click OK to any windows that open and then scroll down to SELECT LIST. We are asked to download an add-on, which we will confirm. At the end of the download, from the same screen on the right we will find some items, including the first FTA, or all the channels of free digital terrestrial. Yet another pop-up warns us that everything has gone well, so we can finally see the various channels that we will naturally find under TV from the main menu of KODI.
As you can see, there are all but all the digital terrestrial channels, even those that you don't normally see with the home antenna. The channels RAI, Mediaset, but also SkyTG 24 and SkySport 24 are present. The load for some channels may not be immediate at the beginning as well as for some it may be necessary to install additional add-ons, but the main channels work at wonder.
