To align with the security a user has when going to shop at a physical store, Amazon has also introduced in Italy the secure delivery with a single-use password. The question that arose spontaneously was: but what is this value? In fact, going to buy any product that falls within a price range of one hundred euros, we have not found any clue about the delivery with the one-time password. Rather, we made a purchase from 350 € and at the time of the transaction we were informed that the order would be delivered via password. Consequently, we can imagine that "given the value of some items”Could mean about € 300 of purchase.
How do I get my one-time password for Amazon deliveries?
Will Amazon to send a password six-digit number to the email address associated with the account after shipping the item. If we do not find it in the emails, we can also find it by selecting Track my package next to the order in the section my orders. The one-time password is valid until the end of the delivery day and it will be necessary to read it to the courier upon delivery.
The procedure is similar to the one we do when we collect a package from a locker (in my case, a stationery shop): when I arrive, I communicate the six-digit password, the newsagent enters it in the database and delivers the package to me.
