Android 12 will introduce one myriad of news according to what we have learned in recent days. The new operating system that should come out in preview very soon, will debut in September with the first stable version. But how will it integrate with our devices? These are getting bigger and bigger, especially the top of the range, and the companies on their own have thought of a solution: the one hand mode. This allows, as the name suggests, to use the smartphone more comfortably. The functionality though it wasn't a prerogative of Google's OS. At least up to Android 11.
According to what emerged, Android 12 will integrate the one-handed mode in a completely native way: this means that we could also buy the so-called frying pan and don't suffer too much
Members of XDA have found out that Google could introduce one-handed mode within the next version of the operating system. Android 12 therefore, it would give users the possibility to use their smartphone (now large as an intercom) in a more convenient way. This prerogative was shelved with Android 11 by Google but nevertheless the different OEMs have decided to develop a similar, if not the same, method on their own. Among these we cannot fail to mention Xiaomi, but which MIUI turns out to be the most complete customization in circulation.
The XDA team, although they discovered this, can't confirm like the mode will actually be presented on the smartphone. It would certainly be convenient for the reduced window we are going to create to be movable at will. In a nutshell: once you make the screen small, that would be a great thing if Android 12 allowed us to move this screen where we want within the usable surface.
The only things that are known at the moment are that the one-handed mode will result in the reduction of screen size up to 40% of its maximum size; you will be able to access the mode either through gestures that through a combination of physical keys; a dedicated setting will also be clearly prepared.
