Android 12 will be released this year, we have had confirmation from reliable sources. PhoneArena, revealed that the first beta build preview, therefore for developers, it will officially arrive next week. So soon? Yes, because it is a preview dedicated exclusively to developers. Consequently we "mere mortals" we will not be able to get our hands on it at least until the end of the year. The same source however revealed that a first version stable, therefore also for us, it will be issued within the year. Let's find out when and what news it will offer us.
Android 12 will debut on February 17 in the “very early beta” version: however, it will not be available until September 2021
According to what revealed by PhoneArena, the very first version of Android 12 will debut on February 17th, precisely in a week (from the time of writing). But this shouldn't scare you. There are smartphones that have not yet received the eleventh release operating system. How is it possible that the twelfth version is already ready? In reality it is not ready, or at least it is not ready for us average users. The version that will be released in a few days it's just a preview.
The first version stable, downloadable from us but still not without problems, it will be available from the 2 September 2021. Basically the developers are taking a long time before they can release a version that can be launched for everyone. However, it is not excluded that these dates may undergo variations. We have already seen previously how numerous OEMs have been updating their devices super late: think of realme which has not yet released a global stable version of Android 11 for all of its devices. In reverse OnePlus and Xiaomi are already well underway.
But what are the news that Android 12 will bring us? Let's review all the information we have: will allow us to color the apps at will, we won't have to wait months before we have new emojis, will plan to renew the "split screen" functionality and, last but not least, will allow you to hibernate unused applications.
