AnTuTu, a well-known benchmark portal, has published what are the preferences of users in the smartphone sector. These, collected in a single article, have stressed that the "perfect" smartphone should have some features rather than others. The report includes statistics for the third quarter of 2021.
Smartphones protagonists of the sector they were those with a 6.6 ″ display (32,4% of the interviewees). Models with a 6.7 "screen received 20% of the votes, while the 5.5 to 6" range is satisfied with only 3,1% of users. There resolution most popular remains 1080p: it was preferred by 60.6% of respondents.
In the survey on the frequency of updating the screen, the audience was split into nearly two equal parts: 41,6% for 60Hz panels and 41,3% of the vote for 120Hz panels.
The question of choosing one platform, mobile devices showed a notable advantage of Qualcomm compared to MediaTek: 61.8% vs 19.1%. Regardless of the brand, 8-core processors are preferred by over 99% of users. As for the RAM, a volume of 8GB is enough for 49.8% of buyers, another 26.6% chose a device with 12GB of RAM. Models with 6 GB of RAM are a thing of the past: their share at the time of the survey was only 16.6%.

The situation regarding the memory is similar. 256GB is becoming the standard - 45.3% of shoppers vote for this amount of memory. The share of devices with 128 GB is slightly lower, with 44.6% of the preferences. The popularity of operating system versions in AnTuTu was also investigated. The first place is occupied by Android 11: this version of the “green robot” represents 67.9% of the devices whose owners took part in the study.
