Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra is the most popular smartphone on AnTuTu: the ranking competes

After releasing the list with the best performing smartphones yesterday, today AnTuTu has instead published the approval rating for Android smartphones in September based on the data collected in the background. However, let's assume that we won't see many surprises compared to the previous month, as the top ten models haven't substantially changed much since the last time around.

Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra is the most popular smartphone on AnTuTu: the ranking competes

In any case, it should be noted that, unlike the previous list, this rating will change over time, so some newly released devices will also be included in the ranking. But no more chatter, let's see who is back in the top 10!

First place: Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra 5G
Acceptance rate: 99,99%

This time, the first in the standings is the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra with an approval rate that reached 99,99%, a very rare result to see, even if we had seen it get from the Meizu 17 Pro in the previous months.

Going back to the Samsung Note20 Ultra, despite not being the newest smartphone, it still adopts top-notch hardware. In fact, the smartphone equips a screen that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. For the first time, it uses an LTPO (Low Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) panel that supports adaptive refresh rate and resolution. It is WQHD + and achieves the highest local brightness of 1500 nits, which far exceeds the local peak brightness of 1200 nits of E3 luminescent materials.

In other respects, we also find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus as a processor, 108MP main camera and UFS 3.1 flash memory. Unfortunately AnTuTu does not tell us why the smartphone got such a high score, but most likely it has to do with the fact that it is a niche product and also very expensive, so whoever buys one knows what to expect and apparently he is very satisfied with it.

Second place: Honor 30 Pro +
Acceptance rate: 97,8%

The smartphone in second place is the Honor 30 Pro +, which is the best flagship on sale by the Chinese brand with a 97,8% approval rate.

This device is in fact the flagship of the Honor Digital series, particularly in its aesthetic appearance compared to previous generations with a more symmetrical and curved design and a 70-degree waterfall screen, so not exaggerated as a 90-degree waterfall screen. °. The edges have also been quite reduced when compared to its predecessors.

The Honor 30 Pro + then has a rear main camera that continues to use RYYB technology, but has been upgraded to a super sensitive 50 megapixel lens. It also has a periscope lens that supports 50x zoom and a number of parameters such as full-pixel eight-core focus. An excellent competitor also with the flagship of the parent company, the Huawei P30 Pro.

Third place: Meizu 17 Pro
Acceptance rate: 97,69%

In third place we find the Meizu 17 Pro, with a 97,69% approval rate.

The smartphone has undergone many OTA updates since its release, adding many features to help improve user feedback.

In terms of the basic configuration, the Meizu 17 Pro is equipped with a Snapdragon 865, LPDDR5 memory and UFS3.1 flash memory. Unfortunately, fast charging cannot be upgraded via OTA, so the power remains at 30W, definitely to many other devices released later.

Obviously, the main feature of this smartphone is not absolute performance, but attention to design. This time the Pro version uses a ceramic back cover for a more premium feel than ever. We can say that it is probably the smartphone that gives more emotions when held in your hands.

In addition to the models we have seen on the podium, there are seven others starting with Meizu 17 (97,61% approval rate), iQOO 5 Pro (97,54% approval rate), Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G ( 865) (97,53% approval rate), Samsung Galaxy Note10 + 5G (855) (96,96% approval rate) vivo X50 Pro + (94,35% approval rate), Huawei Mate 30 5G (93,97%), Samsung Galaxy S10 + (855) (93,95% approval rate).

From this ranking we can deduce that for flagship smartphones it is easier to get a positive score. But what's even more interesting is that older devices are not ostracized, but appreciated for their software maturity achieved over time.
