The ASUS ROG Phone 3 presented a few days ago has just seen a further increase in popularity after the XDA Developers team seems to have discovered something very interesting within the device software.

According to the XDA website, in fact, within the code of the ROG Phone 3 there is a string that says "adb shell setprop debug.vendor.asus.fps.eng 1 to unlock the 160Hz option". So according to this leak it would be possible to change the refresh rate of the display from the already high frequency of 144Hz to the incredible 160Hz.
Now, we don't know what ever you should do with a refresh rate like that especially on a smartphone, but those who love numbers will certainly appreciate it.
We quickly recall that in addition to the 144Hz display, the ASUS ROG Phone 3 also arrives with the new Snapdragon 865 Plus accompanied by a maximum of 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB. In both cases it is LPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 RAM memory.
The smartphone is equipped with a 6.000 mAh battery and supports 30 W fast charging via USB Power Delivery (same as the second generation).
While for cameras, the ROG Phone 3 adopts three cameras on the back with resolutions of 64MP for the main, 13MP with an ultra wide lens and 5MP for the macro. In front we find a single 24MP camera.
