The news on the Asus ROG Phone III has so far been limited, although with the approach of the launch we will discover more details in the days to follow.
ASUS ROG Phone III: New leak reveals designs and specifications
Starting right now, thanks to a very reliable leakster that has released several images of the device, as well as some of the specifications.
According to the leak, Asus' next gaming phone will sport a 6,59-inch FHD + OLED panel with a 144Hz update rate and will be powered by a Snapdragon 865, 16GB of RAM and a huge 6.000 mAh battery capable of being recharged at 30W.
As for the images, there is an official rendering and a real shot of the back. The front is free of notches or holes and has symmetrical bezels on the top and bottom, while the back is quite similar to the previous ROG Phone II with the back in molded glass, the ROG LED logo in the center and horizontal alignment the camera.
The camera module looks slightly different with a higher and longer height in order to accommodate three cameras instead of two. The third camera should be a telephoto type.
Finally, we know that the smartphone will be 9,85 mm thick and heavy enough at 240 grams.
