After several weeks of rumors and leaks, ASUS has just confirmed that the ZenFone 8 series will debut on May 12, also releasing a teaser that suggests that the ZenFone 8 (and the others in the series) will have a perforated screen design.

As we can see from the teaser above in fact, ASUS shows us quite clearly that the ZenFone 8 will be equipped with a hole in the upper left corner. Unfortunately this is all we can deduce from the first official teaser.
For the rest, in the previous days we learned that the ZenFone 8 series will launch three devices with code names such as Sake, Picasso and Vodka.
It is speculated that the Picasso model will be equipped with a 6,67-inch OLED panel, Snapdragon 888 SoC, 8 GB of RAM, Android 11 operating system and Pixelworks i6 visual processor. We will then find a 24-megapixel front camera and at least three rear cameras with the main 686-megapixel Sony IMX64, a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.
While the Sake model could arrive with the name of ZenFone 8 Mini and a display of only 5,92 inches with a refresh rate of 120Hz, Snapdragon 888, 16 GB of RAM, Android 11 operating system, a 66 megapixel Sony IMX64 camera and a new Sony IMX663 lens
Of the Vodka model we only know that it should also come with a Snapdragon 888.
