Last week, Coolpad's official account on Weibo (China's Twitter) announced that it will bring a new smartphone called COOL 20 on May 25th.
Coolpad COOL20 coming with MediaTek Helio G80 chipset
Coolpad's next smartphone arrives with the slogan “Rebirth from the Fire, Return of the King”. It was therefore thought that it was a flagship, but apparently it will not be so.
First of all, in terms of basic performance, the smartphone is equipped with a MediaTek G80 processor, a chipset that we have already seen on devices like the Redmi9. We therefore know that Antutu's score is around 200.
From a photography standpoint, the Coolpad COOL20 is expected to adopt a 48 megapixel main camera and be equipped with ArcSoft algorithms. A very interesting detail given that other smartphone brands have collaborations with famous camera brands such as Leica, while Coolpad being a smaller brand has instead a collaboration with the ArcSoft software, with the logo that will be imprinted on the back cover.
In other respects, the smartphone has an internal memory of 128GB, microSD memory expansion, dual band WiFi, 4G + network and a 2-year warranty (in China).
The Coolpad COOL20 should arrive with a price of less than 1000 yuan, about 130 euros.
