DJI Avata without secrets: photos and videos reveal all the traits

The market drones is expanding and features like first person control is one of the coolest things DJI could think of. We will see this feature on the drone DJI Avatar we talked about in preview a few months ago. Today, thanks to some insider, we are in possession of the images Really of this drone as well as the video of its use which confirms the command via display. Let's go see all the details.

The compact DJI Avata drone has been completely unveiled: the first real photos and a video confirm its command in first person. Cool!

It is assumed that DJI Avata will be the company's second drone, which can be controlled firsthand. In addition to the drone, the video shows another company product Chinese that has not yet been released. Avata will be codenamed "signwoops". DJI already has this type of drone, the FPV. The drone in the video is controlled using a controller of last year's model. However, the pilot is wearing FPV goggles which have not yet been introduced. They differ from existing DJI glasses by their smaller size.

In addition, a photo of DJI Avata is shown by the insiders along with accessories: a motion controller, FPV goggles and a standard controller. Another photo shows the drone up close. On it we can see the propellers protected. According to unconfirmed reports, Avata weighs approx 500 grams and the rest of the features are the same as the DJI Mini 3 Pro. According to rumors, the drone will arrive this month with a 1 / 1.3 ″ CMOS sensor, suitable for shooting in low light conditions.

Furthermore, the battery life will be significantly increased compared to DJI FPV. Clearly the drone will also have flaws, if you can say so: Avata will not have a manual control mode, typical of many FPV drones. Probably, the model will be aimed at inexperienced users who do not yet have high skills in handling drones.
