Here are the differences between OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro

The official presentation of the new OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, devices of which we already know so much, is really a few days away, through a series of leaks and rumors that allow us to compare the two Chinese flagships already.

On an aesthetic level, based on the renders published on the net so far, we can immediately understand that a difference between the two devices will concern the size, where OnePlus 8 will be more "compact" due to a 6,55-inch display compared to 6,78 , 16 compared to the Pro variant. Both models will offer a perforated panel that will house a 3,95MP selfie camera. This hole will also be slightly larger in the Pro variant with a width of 3,84mm compared to OnePlus 8's XNUMXmm.

Weights and dimensions will logically differ, going to 160,2 x 72,9 x 8,1 mm for 178 grams for the basic model while increasing to 165,3 x 74,4 x 8,8 mm for 198 grams in OnePlus 8 Pro .

We come, however, to more interesting areas, as we will find a different technology on the two terminals. In fact, although both will have a Fluid AMOLED screen with HDR10 + support and fingerprint sensor under it, we will have a different refresh rate: 90 Hz in Full HD + for OP8 and 120 Hz in Quad HD + resolution for OP8 Pro. No mini jack input for earphones but at least you can enjoy stereo speakers for premium audio.

OnePlus 8 Pro will also be IP68 certified, for the first time in the history of the brand. The colors will also differ for the two variants: Interstellar Glow, Glacial Green and Onyx Black for OP8.

While for OP8 Pro, however, we will have the Ultramarine Blue, together with the Glacial Green and Onyx Black ones.

Really sublime hardware sector starting from a Snapdragon 865 CPU, octa-core Kryo 585 up to 2.84 GHz and an Adreno 650 GPU, where there will be support for 5G. The memory cuts could be identical on both OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, adopting 8/12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage but without the possibility of expansion via micro SD.

Instead, the mAh dedicated to the batteries are different: 4300 for OP8 and 4510 for OnePlus 8 Pro although both will enjoy the new 30W Warp Charge 30T, but only the Pro variant will also have wireless charging at 30W as well as reverse charging at 3W.

And lastly the photographic sector, which unfortunately on the OnePlus terminals has never shone for quality. This time the company will rely on 3 48 + 16 + 2 MP sensors with primary opening from f/1.8, while the two additional sensors will be wide and for depth acquisition.

The Pro model instead will follow in the footsteps of the moment, pushing up to 4 48 + 48 + 8 + 5 MP modules f/1.78-2.2-2.4. The primary, a Sony IMX689 will be supported by a wide-angle Sony IMX586 with 120 ° FoV. The other will be a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, while the fourth to the side will be a color sensor dedicated to acquiring the colors of the image. Also present the module for laser autofocus, together with a double LED flash.

Unfortunately, no revelation about the sales prices, but analyzing the market, it is plausible to think that OnePlus 8 will also approach the threshold of 1000 dollars at launch.
