After some slowdowns due to both the Covid-19 pandemic and those generated by the rigged benchmark controversies, MediaTek seems to be back on track by setting an online event, scheduled for May 7, in which we should attend some news.
Wiebo is the social used to make the announcement, which takes the form of a promotional image in which the slogan that will accompany the event is shown, i.e. 5G ALL INCLUSIVE. As already mentioned, the appointment is set for May 7 at 14 pm, with a duration of 30 hour, the main theme of which is the 1G, starring the new processor of the Dimensity series, although it remains to be seen whether it will be the model 5 or 800, the latter, however, already in circulation, for example on the recent OPPO A1000S.
MediaTek event scheduled for May 7: SoC Dimensity 2000 and entry level coming soon?
But apparently the Chinese company could exploit the showcase of the online event to also present a new low-end SoC, the MT6853, in addition to Dimensity 2000 which should occupy the top end of the market, so as to rival the Qualcomm counterpart . These are perhaps all conjectures, however supported by the well-known leaker Digital Chat Station and therefore we just have to wait for May 7 to have certainties or denials.
