face unlock type authentication technology but with teeth

A team of researchers from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani has developed Deepteeth, a human authentication system based on dental photographs for mobile and portable devices. The scan is performed using a series of markers responsible for recognizing the unique characteristics of the user's teeth.

The essence of technology is similar to Apple's Face ID, only in this case the "key" of the device does not appear on the whole face, but only on the teeth. According to the developers, their system has no analogues. Furthermore, the tests showed "perfect precision”And a detailed description of how the technology works is presented in a recently published article (you can find it poco above).
