Our sample comes from BangGood's warehouses in Europe and thepackaging is always flawless. The simple and clean design of the FIIDO D4S is immediately appreciated. The aluminum frame gives strength (max load 120kg) and lightness since the bike it weighs only 18.8Kg. The low weight is appreciated both during use on the road and in the various "manual" movements that make it a very suitable bike for urban use, thanks also to its ability to be folded.
The bicycle measures 150 × 108 cm which in the closed mode become 85x45x64 cm and is able in fit comfortably even in the trunk of a small car.
A good technical equipment
Despite the appearance, the FIIDO D4S offers a good technical equipment.
We find in fact the disc brake mechanical with 16cm discs both in the front and in the rear. 20 ″ wheels con are a good compromise for this category. 6-speed Shimano gearbox with “click” control on the handlebar.
There is also a small but good led light in the front, but a later solution is absent. Luckily on Amazon you can find many alternative solutions that I recommend for a safety issue.
The absence of a cushioning system goes in favor of the weight but at the expense of the behavior. Luckily the seat, which is height adjustable like the handlebar, is very large and padded.
On the handlebar there is the on-board computer which acts as both a tachometer and an odometer, both partial and total. In addition to the power button, there is the one to switch between the 3 electric assistance modes: 25% - 50% - 75%
FIIDO D4S amazing 250W motor
In addition to the lightness, the thing that amazed me is the amazing 250W motor that performs very well even in demanding climbs, both with assistance and in electric only mode. In the plains with maximum assistance, 25km / h is reached but by unlocking the bicycle (watch the video) it's possible exceed 35km / h in electric only mode.
The battery is 10.4Ah and allows, in theory, to reach a maximum range of 80km. As always these values are optimistic and influenced by many conditions such as weight, slope and accelerations. It is more realistic to consider 60km as the maximum mileage, which is still an important value.

La I liked FIIDO D4S a lot for its design but above all for its practicality. The low weight, as well as the dimensions (especially when folded) allow us to transport it very easily.
It is a powerful but essential bike that certainly lends itself more to urban use, also due to the lack of a cushioning system.
