The now less well-known Chinese smartphone brand Gionee has launched a new series of smartwatches under the name of STYLFIT GSW6 and STYLFIT GSW8 in India.

The Gionee STYLFIT GSW6 adopts a square shaped dial, while the STYLFIT GSW8 features a round dial. The two new smartwatches share similar characteristics and are in fact equipped with SpO2 monitors, a heart rate monitor, a sleep tracker, a calorie meter and more.
The STYLFIT GSW6 and STYLFIT GSW8 come with a built-in speaker and microphone that allows users to answer calls directly from the smartwatch when there is an incoming call on a connected smartphone. The smartwatches connect to the smartphone via Bluetooth and the brand claims that the audio quality for calls is high.
Among the features on board we have that of pedometer, camera control, monitoring of the menstrual cycle, the calorie counter, the Find my phone function. There are also multi-sport modes like outdoor running, indoor running, indoor walking, outdoor walking, hiking, stair stepper, outdoor bike, stationary bike, elliptical, rowing machine and more.
Finally, in terms of autonomy, we have the square-shaped GSW6 with a 220 mAh battery for 15 days of standby and 5 days of use. The GSW8 integrates a 300mAh battery that promises up to 7 days of battery life for everyday use and 18 days of standby time.
For pricing, the Gionee STYLFIT GSW6 is priced at Rs. 2999, about 34 euros, while the Gionee STYLFIT GSW8 is available at a price of Rs. 3.499, about 40 euros.
