Users noticed a new feature: the Heads Up alerts (can be translated as "Please note:"and "Raise your head"). The meaning of the function is that the system detects when the user is completely submerged in his smartphone while it is in motion. At this precise moment, the system sends a warning to warn the user himself that he may be in danger. However, this functionality is not enough. The developers themselves, within the app, have placed a notice saying that simply activating the functionality is not enough if not accompanied by the user's attention.

Apparently, users of branded smartphones pixel with the beta version of Digital Wellbeing installed they were the first to take advantage of the innovation. A more massive launch is expected soon. Google introduced the Digital Wellbeing app for Android in 2018 and has become a must for new Android 10 smartphones since January 2020.
