Today, Google has updated its Android Enterprise website for add Pixel 6 and 6 Pro to its list of recommended devices. For completeness of information, let us recall something about the program. The AER program started in February 2018, but initially included few devices while at the time of this writing 339 are part of them.
While this news may not be of much interest to average consumers, we felt it was worth publishing for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro owners who use their device for business purposes, as some companies (e.g. Google) may do not allow devices to join your internal network if they do not meet several requirements, one of which is the delivery of security patches within 90 days of their announcement.
