Pixel 6 and 6 Pro they will debut in about ten days and yet, to date, we have all the information. Despite this, however, there is an extremely important detail that we did not think would be revealed before the official launch. We refer to the duration of official support for Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. A thorny issue that sees Samsung as the undisputed king: its smartphones, in fact, are the ones that receive the longest support. Or rather they received: Google has decided to overcome it.
How many updates will Google Pixel 6 and 6 Pro receive? Specifically we don't know but official support will last until 2026!
A major UK retailer has released a promotional page describing the Pixel 6 Pro, providing new details on Google's flagship that will debut on October 19th. The devices, 6 and 6 Pro, will receive security updates for five years. So their software support is calculated up to 2026. Here Google has bypassed Samsung with its four-year support.

Another important point: both smartphones will equip a glass Corning Gorilla Glass Foods, which protects the display, as well as dust and water protection according to the grade IP68. Both models support 30W wired charging. The declared autonomy is over 24 hours "even with 5G". Wireless charging speeds vary slightly, with 21W (Pixel 6) and 23W (Pixel 6 Pro). The devices are compatible with Qi chargers.
As for the cameras, the base model has a dual camera with 50 megapixel e 12 megapixel, while the Pro model adds a telephoto lens to this set 48 megapixel. As for the other specifications, the base model will have an AMOLED screen from 6.4" with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, while the 6 Pro will have a 6.7" with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Both smartphones are based on their own SoC Tensor, supplemented by the security chip Titan M2. In addition, there are modules in the configuration of smartphones NFC and stereo speakers.
