After years in which he has Google neglected the tablet segment, the company used its annual conference for announce its first such device. As much as Google tries to keep the technical specifications of the Pixel Tablet secret, a device with the code name Tangor has been identified on the website of the Universal Stylus Initiative (USI). The available datasheet does not reveal the other specifications of the device. Nonetheless, USI confirms that the tablet will be compatible with the Stylus pen. Google has been a member of USI since 2018, as the search giant has certified the Chrome OS compatibility with Stylus pens on all types of Chromebooks. It is worth mentioning that the first clue that the Pixel Tablet has pen support was commented on by Google's CTO, Rich Undermine, during an interview.
For now, Google is silent on the launch of its first tablet, but at least we know that it will arrive on the market with the tensor chipset.
