Despite the difficulties generated by the Coronavirus, punctual like a Swiss watch, today the presentation of the new and awaited Honor 30 series took place, which consists of 3 models: Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro +.

Among the features that are undoubtedly the protagonists, on Honor 30 Pro, we find a Waterfall display with a curvature angle of 70 °, all seasoned with OLED technology in Full HD + resolution, 19,5: 9 format, density of 392 PPI for a diagonal from 6,57 inches.On the base model, Honor 30, the aspect format changes, slightly wider, reaching 20:9 but with slightly more compact dimensions, i.e. 6,53 inches without curvature. Whether we are talking about the basic or premium version, we also find a hole for the selfie camera, which becomes dual in the case of the Pro model, 32 + 8 MP including wide angle for wider self-portraits and 4K videos.

Premium feature for Honor 30 Pro +, which finally offers a refresh rate at 90 Hz, also holding a small personal record: Honor 30 Pro + is the first smartphone to support this update frequency with the Call of Duty Mobile mobile game. For the benefit of games there is also a stereo speaker, able to understand if you are in the gaming phase and optimize accordingly.

Under the hood beats a Kirin 990 5G processor, SoC made with a 7 nm production process, A76 octacore structure with a maximum clock up to 2.86 GHz which is accompanied by a Mali-G76 MP16 GPU and a double NPU. This results in a performance boost: +23% in the CPU, +36% in the GPU and an incredible +460% for the NPU. As you can guess from the name of the chipset, we find support for 5G networks with 6-band Dual Mode, while on Honor 30 Pro + we also find the new WiFi 6+ standard, in addition to the third generation of Dual-frequency GPS.

To contain so much power, Honor has decided to equip the new terminals with a steam chamber dissipation system. As far as autonomy is concerned, this is entrusted to a battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh capable of supporting the 40W SuperCharge recharge while on the Pro + model, we also find a 27W wireless charging, even reverse, via a compatible base.

For the base model, Honor 30, the processor is instead defined by the Kirin 985, also with a 7 nm production process, but Mali-G77 GPU. But the attention of the community is certainly concentrated on the photographic sector of the 30 series.

On Honor 30 Pro + the configuration is 50 + 8 + 16 MP whose primary sensor in this case is a Sony IMX700 always RYYB, 1 / 1.28 ″ large and capable of producing photos at 2.44 µm.

The photographic suite is completed by the presence of an Octa PDAF focus, as well as the AI ​​RAW function to blend lossless frames and thus improve detail, noise and dynamic range. Possibility to record slow motion at 1920 fps and videos in 4K at 60 fps.
