Honor 30 Pro +: The president of Honor confirms the 5x optical zoom

One of the most important features for all flagships presented in this 2020 seems to be the presence of a telephoto lens with large capacities. Well today the Honor brand seems to have suggested this in a new teaser released in China.

But if the teaser suggests only the presence of a super zoom, then the president of Honor arrives, Zhao Ming, who immediately released photographic evidence that confirms everything. The Honor 30 Pro + will have both an 0,6X ultra wide angle lens and a telephoto lens up to a maximum zoom of 30X.

In fact, among the images we see a Chinese attraction, the Huilan pavilion, which in the photo taken with the wide-angle lens is almost invisible. However, in the zoomed photos to follow the pavilion is increasingly enlarged.

These images, with their captions (0,6X, 10X and 30X), as well as confirming the various zoom lengths, also make us assume that the optical zoom of the telephoto lens is at least 5X. This especially since the image with 10X zoom is very sharp and without artifacts, which instead would appear if it were a 2X or 3X optical zoom.

So in terms of focal length we are talking about a 125mm lens while the ultra wide angle lens has an equivalent focal length of 18mm.

As for the other cameras instead, we already know that the main one will have a resolution of 50MP and a size of 1 / 1,28 inches; they are one of the largest mobile image sensors around. We will also have 2,44um large pixels, omnidirectional focus and integrated optical stabilization.

The presentation conference of the Honor 30 series will be held at 14 pm on April 30th, or tomorrow afternoon.
