Official Honor 50, with a surprise: Google services are back!

The series Honor 50 is reality: the Chinese company presented its new smartphones in China, and at the same time announced that the devices "will have the ability to have Google Mobile Services (“GMS”) pre-installed, in accordance with Google's licensing and governance models ”. Taking up what has been said a few lines further up, according to a source within the company, in addition to the new Honor 50, all other future Honor smartphones and tablets will also have Google GMS. Really great news! But now let's move on to the technical characteristics of the two devices in question, starting from Honor 50.

The terminal has one screen from 6,57″ at 120Hz and mounts a chipset Snapdragon 788G by Qualcomm. Excellent the battery from 4300 mAh with fast charging from 66 W, as well as the rear camera compartment characterized by two groups of circular cameras, with a 100MP main sensor, one MP ultra wide angle cam, one 2 MP depth camera and one 2 MP macro camera. On the front there are a couple of selfie cameras: a 2 MP sensor and a 12 MP ultra wide angle.

The photographic sector of Honor 50 Pro is identical, but the selfie-cam has the dedicated ultra wide, unlike the basic version. Also changes the display, which is from 6,72", while the processor is the same. Slightly less wide the battery, which reaches 4000 mAh, but fast charging is larger, in this case up to 100 W.

Finally, we come to the price and availability of the two phones: Honor 50 was launched in China at the figure of approximately 438 €, while Honor 50 Pro at 476 euros. For the moment they are only available in China, but they will arrive later on the international market as well.
