Together with the Honor 50 that we have seen in this post, the Chinese manufacturer also announced a new pair of TWS earphones called Honor Earbuds 2 SE.
Official Honor Buds 2 SE in China: active noise reduction and fast charging at 469 yuan (61 €)
The Honor Earbuds 2 SE come with an Apple AirPods styled stem design, have a glossy finish and are available in Magic Night Black and Iceland White color variants.
Honor earphones support active noise cancellation (ANC) and like many headphones with this technology, the Honor Earbuds 2 SE also have a transparency mode that can be activated to allow you to hear the sounds around us without removing the earphones. A very useful feature when having a conversation. There is also AI Dual Mic Call Noise Reduction which uses beamforming technology to reduce background noise such as wind noise when making calls.
With the Honor Earbuds 2 SE you can also use the earphones as microphones when recording a vlog with the smartphone instead of using the microphones of the same. Honor claims that this results in a better result. There is also the low-latency game mode which is only compatible with devices that run with the Magic UI 4.0 and later.
Finally, in terms of battery life, the earbuds provide up to 10 hours of playback with ANC off and up to 32 hours with the charging case. It also supports fast charging via the USB-C port - a 10-minute charge will provide up to 4 hours of listening time.
The Honor Buds 2 SE will be sold in China at a price of 469 yuan, around 61 euros at the exchange rate.
