Huawei's sub-brand, Honor, seems to want to increasingly broaden its horizons with products that go beyond the smartphone world. The next step in this direction concerns the world of computing, with a new monitor that could arrive on the market under the name of Honor Display 23.8 ″.
Honor Display 23.8 ″ leaks online: adopts the same design as the Huawei monitor
The news comes from a leakster on the famous social Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) that goes with the nickname of "Uncle of the mountain". He has in fact released the first image of what should be the first monitor of the Chinese brand.
The device, however, is shown only on the back, on which we see a giant writing "HONOR" positioned vertically. Something we are now used to, after seeing it on several smartphones of the brand.
As for the design, nothing new here either. In fact, it looks the same as the Huawei Monitor AD80HW, leaked online a few weeks ago. According to those rumors, the display was 24 inches large, with Full HD resolution, 5,72mm bezels, and a screen-to-body ratio of up to 90%.
We also found that the monitor would use an IPS panel with a 72% NTSC color gamut, 16,7 million colors, 178 viewing angles, a contrast ratio of 1000: 1 and eye protection with German Rheinland certification. TUV.
In any case, returning to the Honor Display 23.8 ″, the image shows us a design almost identical to that of the Huawei monitor. We will therefore have to wait for the official presentation to understand if they are two different monitors or if it will only come under the Honor brand.
