A few hours ago we discovered that HONOR has scheduled a launch conference for the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2022 which will take place on February 28th. The brand has yet to officially reveal the devices that will be announced at this conference, but several rumors tell us it will almost certainly launch the next HONOR Magic4.
Well, two weeks after the presentation, today what should be the data sheets of this high-end series have leaked. The leakster broke the news RODENT950, who shared three images on Twitter containing the main specifications of the upcoming HONOR Magic4, HONOR Magic4 Pro and HONOR Magic4 Pro +.
According to images released by RODENT950 all three devices will have a metal frame design. In addition, the Pro + version will also have a ceramic back instead of glass and leather finishes like on the basic and Pro version.
As for performance, the HONOR Magic4 will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and a hexagonal graphene sheet to control temperatures. The HONOR Magic4 Pro and HONOR Magic4 Pro + will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chip coupled with hexagonal graphene sheet and ultra-thin VC liquid cooling system.
The three devices will come with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 memory, and NFC 2.0 as standard. The basic variant will have a single linear vibration motor on the x-axis, while the other two versions will have two of these motors. Likewise, the Pro and non-Pro have regular dual stereo speakers, while the Pro + will sport symmetrical dual stereo speakers.
All smartphones have BOE's OLED displays with a diamond pixel arrangement, but they will differ in size and features. Either way, they have some things in common such as 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, 1,07 billion colors, HDR10 + certification, and DCI-P3 color gamut support.
Going into detail, the HONOR Magic4 will have a 6,55-inch panel with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a touch sampling rate of 300 Hz, micro curves on two sides and a single centered hole. The Pro and Pro + versions screens will have a touch sampling rate of 360 Hz, four-sided micro bends, and dual centered punch holes. The Pro + 's display will measure 6,67 inches with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels compared to a 6,78 inch panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels in the Pro +.
Additionally, all three will have an in-screen fingerprint sensor, the Pro + will use an ultrasonic solution rather than optical like the cheaper models.
As for cameras, the trio will come with a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide unit with macro support. The non-Pro variant will have a 16MP telephoto lens with support for digital zoom up to 10x and a 16MP selfie shooter.
The Pro models sport an OIS-equipped 50MP telescopic camera with support for 100x digital zoom, a 50MP monochrome camera, an 8 × 8 dToF laser focus system, and a dual 13MP + 3D selfie camera with depth detection.
The HONOR Magic4 series will come with Android 6.0-based Magic UI 12 and will be powered by a 4.800mAh battery. While for charging we have the non-Pro and Pro version with 66W charging, while the Pro + will reach a maximum of 100W. In addition, the two Pro models will also have support for 50W fast wireless charging.
Finally, the HONOR Magic4 Pro + will be certified IP68 for resistance to dust and water, then we have an IP53 degree of protection on the Pro version, while the basic variant does not have any type of IP classification.
