Honor MagicBook coming soon with AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPU

Huawei's sub brand Honor has just shared a poster on Weibo (the Chinese Twitter) in which it makes fun of its MagicBook series, as it will only see an update of the internal components.

Honor MagicBook coming soon with AMD Ryzen 4000 series CPU

In any case, this will be a significant upgrade since the new range will use the new Ryzen 4000 series CPUs with 7 nm production process released by AMD. The official presentation will actually take place on July 16 starting at 14:30 CST and as usual they will first be an exclusive to the Asian country and after a couple of months they will be launched in the rest of the world.

AMD's new chips promise a significant increase in performance while improving energy efficiency. So a good step forward compared to the current MagicBook 14 with the Ryzen 3000 series, even if the latter have shown excellent performances.

Honor MagicBook Pro 2020

Recall the Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 is the latest laptop released by the Chinese brand. The laptop comes with the new 5th generation Intel Core i10210-7U and i10510-16U processors, both paired with 8GB of RAM (the previous generation only came to 512GB). On board we then have a 350 GB SSD and an NVIDIA GeForce® MXXNUMX video card.

We then find a 16,1-inch screen with support for a 100% sRGB color range and a high screen / body ratio, we are talking about 90%. In particular, we find side edges of only 4,9 mm, making it more compact than traditional 15,6-inch notebooks; and it is also light at 1,7 kg, about 130g less than its predecessor.

In any case, we look forward to the AMD alternative which will certainly be much cheaper.
