Honor's new laptop is official: it's called Honor MagicBook V14, and among its main technical specifications it includes a display by 14 " with refresh rate to 90 Hz, a Core i7 processor, MX450 GPU, 16GB RAM, Windows 11 and much more. Let's find out in detail.

Today very interesting news arrives from the Honor world. Along with the Chinese market launch of the new Honor Pad V7, the Chinese brand in these hours has also presented a new laptop, called Honor MagicBook V14. It is the first notebook in the world to be certified for the Intel Evo platform, and the first to have pre-installed thelatest Windows 11 operating system.
But those aren't the only features that make it noteworthy. First, the laptop in question features a 14,2 LTPS LCD panel"With aspect ratio 3: 2, 2,5K screen resolution e refresh rate equal to 90 Hz. It is a screen capable of covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut and offers a maximum brightness of 400 nits.
As for its performance, Honor MagicBook V14 has a processor Intel Core i5-1132H, but there is also a higher-end variant available that is equipped with a chip Core i7-11390H. The NVIDIA MX450 GPU is dedicated to graphics processing. The memory cuts can count on a RAM of up to 16 GB and 512 GB of internal NVMe memory.
Camera side, this laptop can count on a photographic compartment with one 5MP dual chamber configuration with a proprietary ISP chip that improves the quality of video calls. In addition, it comes with four speakers and four microphones, along with support for the directional pickup and for the pickup at a distance of 5 meters. Connectivity chapter: we have Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, USB-A 3.2 Gen1 x 2, USB-C 3.2 Gen1 x 2, HDMI x 1, 3,5 mm jack.
The data sheet is completed by the double fans and double tubes for heat dissipation and the fingerprint sensor incorporated in the power button, which allows you to unlock the device in 0,7 seconds. Also worth mentioning is the Honor MagicBook V14 keyboard, since the brand is particularly keen to point out that it has a 1,5 mm stop, with keys coated with skin-friendly resin, resistant to stains and wear, to ensure excellent protection from grease.
Honor MagicBook V14: price and availability
Honor has launched three different models on the Chinese market, which will be available for purchase from next 6 October. Let's start with the base model, with Intel Core i5-1132H processor, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB NVMe memory and integrated graphics. It costs 820 € about the change and is available in two colors: Star Gray and Glacial Silver.
The second model features an Intel Core i5-1132H processor, 16GB of RAM, 512GB NVMe memory and integrated graphics. Its price is 925 € approximately at the change, and will be available in one color, namely Starry Sky Gray.
Finally, the high-end model will be able to count on an Intel Core i7-11390H CPU, 16 GB of RAM, 512 GB of storage space and NVIDIA MX450 with independent display. To buy it you will need to invest 1057 € approximately at the exchange rate and will be available for purchase in Starry Sky Gray and Dawn Blue colors.
We do not yet know if we will also see them here in Italy. At the moment they are in pre-order at home, but it is not certain that they do not arrive here as well. It would be really interesting to try them! All that remains is to wait for official communications from Honor.
