Huawei's former sub-brand, HONOR, has already launched several devices in the Chinese market in recent months. It now appears that the brand will also be launching its new products in select global markets in the coming weeks. One such device could be a tablet called the HONOR Pad Z3.
HONOR Pad Z3 appears in a new leak: will it be a rebrand of Pad 7?
The well-known leakster Evan Blass has in fact shared a render of a HONOR tablet called HONOR Pad Z3. Unfortunately, however, the leakster does not mention any other info.
Either way, the image shows a budget tablet with huge bezels on all sides. We can see the power and volume keys on the right side and a front camera on the right bezel instead of the top.
This tablet is believed to target global markets. This is also thought to be a rebrand of the HONOR Pad 7 that became official in China earlier this year.
The next HONOR Pad Z3 is therefore expected to have a 10,1-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC. In China, the Pad 7 comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In international markets, the Pad Z3 could arrive with different storage configurations depending on the regions in which it will be sold.
It is not yet known when the HONOR Pad Z3 will go official, but the launch seems very close.
