Honor Play6T coming with MediaTek chip, but it won't be the Dimensity 820

Well, today, a Chinese blogger broke the news that the Play6T will be powered by MediaTek processors. At the same time, in the comments, the blogger also stated that since the Dimensity 820 has been withdrawn from production, the Play6T will not use this processor.

Additionally, another blogger previously revealed that the Play6T won't use the Dimensity 8100 or 8000 processor, leaving it with not many options.

At the moment, the Honor Play6T Pro has been placed on the site of Honor's standalone flagship store on the JD platform. Judging by the official product poster, the top, left and right edges of the phone are well controlled, and the front camera uses a hole design for good visual perception.

On the back, its rear camera module adopts an iPhone 12-like rectangular design, combined with a right-angled bezel, the visual appearance of the whole machine is understated and square.

It is worth mentioning that when Honor initially promoted this phone, product manager Wei Xiaolong specifically pointed out the "metaverse", but it is currently unclear how this element will be integrated into the phone.
