Huawei's sub-brand, Honor, just announced the first Wi-Fi 6 Plus router for the global market, is the Honor Router 3.
Honor Router 3 now available in Europe from € 79.90
The new router is available on pre-order for € 79,90 in Germany, France, Spain, Italy and the Netherlands and £ 79,99 in the UK.
Honor fans in some countries can also get an Honor Band 5 and a pair of Honor AM115 earphones for free with every purchase of Router 3 from tomorrow until July 31st.
As for the specifications, the router is equipped with a Gigahome Wi-Fi 6 chipset, a 1,2 GHz dual-core CPU and Wi-Fi 6 to reach speeds never seen before and stable connections, thus guaranteeing an experience of faster and smoother network.
Router 3 comes with a WAN port and three LAN ports that support speeds between 100 Mbps and 1000 Mbps.
Compared to Wi-Fi 5, Wi-Fi 6 allows three times faster network speeds, four times more capacity, lower latency and 30% lower power consumption. Taking advantage of a number of exclusive technologies such as OFDMA Multi-User Technology, Target Wake Time and WPA3, Router 3 offers users stable and secure Wi-Fi 6.
In addition, thanks to the click of the "H" button at the top of the router, users can easily pair up to five Routers 3 together to create a mesh network. This expands the global coverage of the Wi-Fi network without adding range extenders.
