Honor has just announced two new very affordable tablets (at least in China), the Honor Tablet 6 and X6. Both are equipped with LCD panels, 5.100 mAh batteries, Android 10 and work with a Huawei Kirin 710A as a CPU.
Honor Tablet 6 and X6 officially presented in China
The main difference between the two tablets lies in the display. In fact, we have the Honor Tablet 6 with a 10,1-inch FHD + panel while the X6 is equipped with a display with a resolution of 1200 × 800 pixels from 9,7 inches.
Both devices offer a dual speaker setup and a 2MP selfie camera. While on the back, we find a single 5 MP camera. The batteries on both tablets have a nominal capacity of 5.100 mAh and are recharged via USB Type-C port.
The software side sees the Magic UI 3.1 based on Android 10, for both tablets there is support for the Honor Magic-Pencil stylus and the Huawei Education Center and Child's Paradise apps are pre-installed.
The Honor Tablet 6 in its 3GB / 32GB Wi-Fi version has a price of CNY 1.299 (€ 170), while the top of the range LTE model with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of space will be sold at CNY 1.899 (240 €). Sales will begin on July 28th.
As for the X6, we have a starting price of CNY 1.099 (€ 135) in its 3 / 32GB Wi-Fi version and CNY 1.199 (€ 150) for the 3 / 32GB LTE version. Sales in China are expected to begin in August.
