As we already know, Honor has scheduled a launch event on August 12 in which it will launch its new flagship: the Honor Magic 3. The smartphone will also be accompanied by a tablet with the name of Honor Tablet V7 Pro.
Official: Honor Tablet V7 Pro will arrive with the new MediaTek Kompanio 1300T
Well, today the official account of Honor Smart Life officially confirmed that the next tablet of the brand will be powered by the MediaTek Kompanio 1300T processor.
As we learned yesterday, the MediaTek 1300T Kompanio features a flagship architecture similar to the Dimensity 1200 chipset. It is built with TSMC's 6nm manufacturing process and uses an octa-core processor consisting of four Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores. It packs a Mali-G77 MC9 nano-core GPU that is superior to the Mali G57 MC5 used by its predecessor.
The chipset integrates a 5G sub-6 GHz band modem that supports dual-SIM and dual-channel carrier aggregation. The company said the Kompanio 1300T will power several new tablets starting in the third quarter of this year.
Returning to the Honor Tablet V7 Pro, Honor shared a teaser video for the upcoming tablet which revealed it will come with a blue leather finish. It also shows a camera module similar to the Honor 50 series. And a SIM card slot on the left side.
