The Honor V30 Pro is the latest flagship product from the Huawei sub-brand. The smartphone adopts an IPS LCD display from 6,57 inches, a triple camera on the back and a HiSilicon Kirin 990 as processor.
Honor V30 Pro: The selfie cam does not convince DxOMark
Well, today the most famous site in the world regarding the photographic rating, or DxOMark, has released the review of the front compartment of the device.
So let's start by recapitulating the camera compartment hardware. Specifically we find a 32MP main camera with a lens equivalent to 26 mm and an ultra wide angle 8MP camera. The main camera can also record 4K high resolution movies at 30 frames per second.
Let's go now to see the review in which the smartphone managed to obtain a total of 76 points, which is slightly disappointing for a device in its category. In particular, the photo mode was the worst with just 70 points, while the video department did better at 85 points.
In any case, the Honor V30 Pro showed some color problems, a reduced depth of field and a slightly excessive embellishment effect, which create sub-average selfies.
As we said earlier, the selfie videos are decent, with good details and stabilization.
In conclusion, the rear camera of the Honor V30 Pro is still an excellent option for many users, but if photos and selfie videos are a priority, there are much better options on the market.
