As we already know, on January 18 Honor will announce the new Honor V40 in China. In the previous days we had the opportunity to see several leaks that showed us the possible design of the device, but today a much more concrete update seems to have arrived.
Honor V40: confirmed its design thanks to advertising posters
Chinese users are in fact able to take photos of the V40 advertising posters inside the Honor store. These posters show us both the back and front design.
Specifically, we see that the Honor V40 will be available in three colors: Gradient Blue, Gradient Orange and Black. While as far as the photographic sector is concerned, we see a rectangular-shaped module at the top left, therefore very similar to dozens of other smartphones on the market.
In any case, we note the presence of a main sensor at the top, accompanied by three other cameras and an LED flash.
Furthermore, on the poster it is possible to read (in Chinese) that the Honor V40 is equipped with a super sensitive 50 megapixel sensor, we will then be able to find the new Sony IMX766 sensor.
In the front we see instead a screen with curved edges and two pill holes in the upper left for the front camera. While according to previous leaks the screen should be the same 6,72-inch OLED FHD + panel available on the Huawei Nova 8 Pro. So, it should come with support for a 10-bit color depth, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a tactile sampling rate of 300 Hz.
Finally, the Honor V40 will almost certainly be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ as a processor, LPPDR4x RAM, UFS 2.1 memory and a 4.000mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
