With the Honor V40 release date approaching, the brand has officially launched the marketing campaign for the next top of the range.
Honor V40: some display specifications officially revealed
Yesterday in particular, Honor announced that the V40 will adopt a 1 billion color retina-level super sensing screen, today the Chinese brand also revealed that the smartphone will support a tactile sampling rate of 300Hz.
Clearly the touch sampling rate refers to the touch sensitivity of the screen. The higher the touch frequency, the higher the touch sensitivity of the screen, thus offering the best experience especially for those who play on their device.
The touch sampling rate or touch response rate is very different from the display refresh rate or refresh rate, which is the number of times in a second that the image is redrawn on a display.
In any case, as mentioned in some previous posts, the Honor V40 is expected to adopt the same 6,72-inch OLED FHD + panel available on the Huawei Nova 8 Pro. So a refresh rate of 120Hz and a tactile sample rate of 300 Hz.
As for the other specifications, according to Chinese sources, the smartphone could be equipped with a Dimensity 1000+ chip, LPDDR4x RAM memory and UFS2.1 internal memory, not exactly the hardware of a true flagship if compared to the latest Xiaomi Mi 11 e Article 7 with Snapdragon 888, LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 memory
According to previous certifications, however, the Honor V40 will be equipped with the same HW-110600C0x charger from Huawei, which supports 66W fast charging and there will also be a 45W vertical wireless charger.
