After weeks of leaks, the former Huawei sub-brand Honor has just made official the arrival of the next Honor V40 for next week.
Honor V40 will be presented on January 12: the first official poster
In fact, according to what the brand has revealed, the smartphone will be presented on January 12, so the previous rumors seem to have just been confirmed.
In addition to the launch date, we also have a new poster (on the cover) that shows us the final design of the Honor V40. In particular, we see a device with a curved screen on the sides. The curvature seems very pronounced, but the buttons are still physical and not virtual as in some smartphones with a “waterfall” display.
Also from the poster we then discover the slogan of the next Honor V40 series, namely: "rebirth from the cocoon". The meaning is quite obvious, as it will be the first product brought since Honor's rebirth after leaving Huawei. At the same time, Honor's offline store also promoted the next smartphone by carrying the brand's old slogan: "New National Trend of Science and Technology, Shine You to Book".
In terms of configurations, the Honor V40 series will use a 6,72-inch FHD screen that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz and a screen sample rate of 300Hz. We will find Matrix cameras and a high-end MediaTek processor, most likely the Dimensity 1000+.
Finally, the smartphone should have a 66W cable charge and a 45W wireless one.
