Although the Honor brand has just been sold by Huawei, this should not affect the release of smartphones already on the schedule. One of the many will be the next Honor V40, which should arrive in the following weeks so as to bring a breath of fresh air to the "V" series.
Honor V40 Pro + coming with Kirin 9000 and 120Hz display
To confirm the possible imminent arrival of the device, a famous Chinese blogger on Weibo (the Asian Twitter) thought about it, even stating that a total of three models should arrive: the Honor V40, Honor V40 Pro and Honor V40 Pro +. The latter is expected to integrate Huawei's brand new chip, the Kirin 9000.
So not all of the new Honor series will be equipped with the new CPU, but only the more premium version. While the other two devices in the series could adopt chips produced by MediaTek, most likely from the Dimensity series, one of the best of the Taiwanese chipmaker.
As for the other specs, the Honor V40 Pro + is expected to arrive with the same super fast 66W charging as the Mate40 Pro, a main camera is 50MP RYYB, a screen with a hole for the front camera and a refresh rate of 120Hz. All hardware to be confirmed in the coming days (hopefully).
