Honor X10 coming soon with Sony IMX600y sensor

A few days ago we learned of a mid-range Honor smartphone compatible with 5G technology, along with many other details on the specifications provided directly by TENAA. Today, a leakster has instead shared some of the missing features, including one really important: the main camera.

Honor X10 coming soon with Sony IMX600y sensor

Honor X10

According to the leakster in fact, the Honor X10 will adopt an image sensor of the Sony IMX600 series, i.e. those already used in numerous Huawei and Honor phones. Among the most recent we have the 40 MP sensor that we find on both Honor V30 Pro and Huawei Mate Xs. The sensor created specifically for the X10 is called Sony IMX600y and seems to have the same resolution as the IMX600. So we don't know what the differences are between the two sensors at the moment.

However, along with the new rumor, there is also a table full of specifications shared on the social Weibo (the Chinese Twitter). This list shows us the resolutions of two other cameras: 8MP and 2MP. With the 8MP camera that will probably be an ultra wide angle lens while the 2MP camera will most likely be a lens for taking macro photos or a depth sensor to create photos with the bokeh effect. As for selfies instead, the smartphone should adopt a 16MP camera.
