Only four months have passed since the launch of iQOO 3 5G and now Vivo's sub-brand would be ready to announce a successor: the iQOO 5.

Unlike other manufacturers who have launched and will launch “S”, “T” and “Pro” variants of their already phones, iQOO prefers to go to the next issue which is apparently 5.
The news about the arrival of the iQOO 5 series comes from the famous Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station. According to him, the series will launch this month and based on his Weibo post, it looks like we will have more than one device.
The iQOO 5 series is expected to be launched for the first time in China before reaching other markets such as India. The iQOO 5 is expected to feature the new 120W fast charging technology that iQOO announced last month. This fast-charging technology is capable of charging a 4000mAh battery from zero to 100% in just 15 minutes.
Having said that, we are still not sure if the smartphone will also adopt a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 or a Snapdragon 865 Plus as a processor, but in any case we would not be surprised to find the first since several brands are skipping Qualcomm's new chipset.
