According to the expected teasers on the official iQOO, the new iQOO 5 series will be presented at 14:30 on August 17th. One of the highlights will be the launch of the 120W fast charging technology.

Well, as the release date approaches, we have a steady stream of specs being confirmed. In particular, one of the latest teasers finally shows us the final aspect of the device.
The screenshot taken from a video demonstrating the 120Hz refresh rate also points out the presence of a curved screen with a camera in a hole inside the display. It is worth noting that this would be iQOO's first curved screen smartphone. The display would also pass SGS certification, with the most damaging blue light being less than 7,5%.
As for the other specifications, according to previous news, the new iQOO 5 should arrive with the performing Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as a processor, with support for SA and NSA dual-mode 5G, it will be equipped with RAMLPDDR5 and UFS 3.1 internal memory. It will then have a 4000mAh built-in battery with the standard version supporting 55W flash charging and the Pro version supporting 120W flash charging.
