Up to now we have been accustomed to judging smartphones through the benchmarks and rankings made available by the Geekbench and AnTuTu databases, to which is added the recent but honorable Master Lu. Just like those proposed by rivals in the benchmark field, the Master Lu's ranking offers a monthly list of the best smartphones in terms of performance during the test phases. Here is the October ranking, which examines only the devices released in the month and not the past ones, revealing welcome surprises (or confirmations) for all fans of the OPPO and Realme brands.
In Pole Position we find Realme X2 Pro, which gets 438974 points, literally making the rest of the ranking eat dust. This, thanks to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset which is currently the most powerful and performing SoC on the market. In second position we find the OPPO Reno Ace which totals 431605 points, detaching by a handful of points the OnePlus 7T Pro, always belonging to the family of OPPO and Realme, which scores 429811 points.
All these devices are equipped with the Snapdragon 855+ processor leaving the sixth and seventh position to the top-of-the-range devices from Huawei which with the X model even drops to eleventh position. In the rest of the Master Lu ranking we do not find any other Realme device but 2 OPPO terminals, the K5 and the Reno 2z. However, we remind our readers not to judge a smartphone only for the benchmark score obtained in the tests as we often found ourselves in front of a device with muscles but poco brain.
