After weeks of rumors and leaks, the Chinese tech giant has finally confirmed that its next gaming phone, the Lenovo legion 2 Pro, will be presented on April 8 in China.
Lenovo Legion 2 Pro: the new gaming phone will be launched on April 8th
Unfortunately, in addition to revealing the launch date, the teaser does not reveal anything about the specifications of the upcoming device. That said, a smartphone with model number L70081 was recently seen in the Chinese 3C certification site database and this is thought to be the gaming phone.
The 3C certification suggests that the device could come with a 65W fast charger. While we recall that the first generation Lenovo Legion Pro featured two USB Type-C ports for connecting a pair of 45W chargers. This workaround allowed the smartphone to support fast charging with a maximum power of 90W.
If the Legion 2 Pro comes with the same feature, which is a pair of USB Type-C ports for simultaneous charging, it should be possible to connect two 65W chargers. But it is not clear what the total power might be.
As for the rest, a Geekbench test of the Lenovo Legion 2 Pro revealed to us that the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 888, along with 16GB of RAM and we will have Android 11 OS as the operating system.
