The new portable workstation Lenovo ThinkPad P16 was presented by the Chinese company, designed for professional use by the most demanding users. According to what was declared by the brand, the device should eliminate any compromise, offering maximum performance and a decidedly solid form factor. Let's find out more details.

According to Lenovo, the workstation in question is indicated "Both for engineers and designers who create complex renderings and for developers who work on virtual and mixed reality simulations". Thanks to a truly remarkable technical data sheet, starting from aluminum frame and the fusion of the best features of the 15 "and 17" ThinkPads.
To mention in the first place the cooling system, “Completely new” according to the company and equipped with two fans, heat pipes, a double vapor chamber, an air intake for the keyboard and a double by-pass design for reducing surface temperatures. All this allows you to always have a machine that is able to perform at its best even in intense and prolonged work situations.
As for the technical front, Lenovo ThinkPad P16 mounts the recent and very powerful chips inside Intel Alder Lake HZ. A real bomb. Among other things, Lenovo offers the possibility to order the model with modem 4G LTE integrated, while the standard version features the latest technologies, namely WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, as well as an advanced number of entrances. Also present the ISV certification (Independent Software Vendor) and the passing of MIL-SPEC tests.
The work the brand has done to make this workstation more sustainable also deserves a separate chapter. It is in fact made with 30% post-consumer recycled plastic material in the speaker casing and 97% PCC in the battery pack casing. In addition to this, there are FSC certified materials, used for the cardboard and the accessory box.
