Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and X1 Yoga official with 11th generation Intel CPU

At CES 2021 which is taking place in the US the Lenovo brand just updated two of its high-end laptops: the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon and Lenovo X1 Yoga.

The main novelty is that both laptops are now powered by Intel 11th generation processors with support for vPro technology. The devices are also equipped with a 16:10 aspect ratio screen with a reduced bottom bezel.

But let's start with the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, the laptop is equipped with a 14-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and comes with Full HD + or UHD + display, with the brightness on the device can reach a peak value of 500 nits.

Together with the 11th generation Intel processor, the device integrates Intel Xe graphics, up to 32GB of LPDDR4x RAM and SSD up to 2TB, bringing better overall performance than previous generation models.

The laptop also has a 4G LTE or 5G connectivity option, runs on the Windows 10 operating system, and supports Windows Hello with an IR sensor with a privacy shutter.

Moving on to the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga, the company's convertible comes with a detachable keyboard with TrackPoint system and has a built-in pen for taking notes or marking a document.

As for the specifications, the configuration is similar to that found in the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. This also comes with support for 4G or 5G connectivity, making it a good choice for productivity.

Finally, for pricing, the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon is priced at $ 1429 (€ 1175) while the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga costs $ 1569 (€ 1290).
