Low-cost gaming is now possible thanks to the new Lenovo G27q-20 and G27-20 monitors

With the advent of portable consoles and with the increasingly performing solutions proposed by Microsoft and Sony, or Xbox Series X and PlayStaion 5, many have abandoned the gaming activity via desktop PC, although many still prefer tradition to innovation, placing their bottom on a nice comfortable chair and turn on the turbo on their personal computer. Here, then, is that Lenovo brings the spotlight back to desktop gaming by offering two economic solutions for displaying the increasingly realistic graphics of video games. We are therefore talking about low cost monitors and in particular the G27q-20 and G27-20 models.

Both in terms of aesthetics and technical specifications there are not many differences between the two models, even if the few that exist could make the difference between the choice of one or the other model. In fact, the G27q-20 model offers a refresh rate (refresh rate) locked at 144 Hz, which is expressed by means of a 10p (1440 x 2560 pixel) 1440-bit panel with support up to 1,07 billion colrou and 109 PPI. Being of an economic nature, the Lenovo G27q-20 monitor is equipped with a 27-inch IPS LCD type display with WLED backlight and 16: 9 form factor, but HDR content is also supported, as well as enjoying the TÜV Rheinland Low certification. Blue Light / Flicker Free and AMD FreeSync Premium.

The G27-20 model is definitely the "poorer" model between the two new gaming monitors from Lenovo, as the panel used is 8-bit with support up to 16,7 million colors with 82 PPI and 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Also in this case the IPS LCD technology is adopted for a diagonal of 27 inches in 16: 9 format. However, it is excellent that HDR, AMD FreeSync Premium and TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light / Flicker Free certification are supported.

Unfortunately, it has not yet emerged whether Lenovo's two low-cost gaming monitors will cross American borders, where at the moment they have been announced at the price of 253 euros at the exchange rate for the Lenovo G27-q20 model while the G27-20 model drops to about 200. euro at the exchange rate.
